Today, I made my first butterfly fairy cake. It took two hours to make, with some help from Mom and my brother. Actually, the cake is in the form of the skirt while the top portion is of course, Mariposa herself. You can't see her legs but they are there inside the butter cake.
I designed the skirt using orange-flavored icing. For color, I used blue, green, purple, and pink food coloring. I hope the cake tastes as good as I hope it looks.

Yes I'm happy to say that I made it all by myself (with some help from my "assistants") and didn't get it from a cake shop. I think I'll make a car cake for adik.
